Farm Shop Apple Paradise Margaretenhof…

…The namesake, Mrs. Margarete Genneper, and her family had already been growing fruit there in the 1930s and selling it directly in their own farm shop.

In January 2006, the farm was handed over to us, and on March 1st, 2006, Rudolf and Bernd Schumacher opened their second farm shop “Apple Paradise Margaretenhof” as their first joint project.

We completely cleared out the old apple trees/varieties and replaced them with new scab-resistant varieties.

Today, apples are offered here for pick-your-own. Customers can come during the announced times and pick the apples of their choice themselves – a wonderful experience for young and old alike.

Since 2017, premium sweet cherries have also been available for pick-your-own here in Moers. The start of the annual cherry and apple pick-your-own season is announced via Facebook, Instagram, and on our website.
