Apple Paradise Tönisvorst...
For generations…
…The Großheyerhof has existed for over 500 years and has been owned by the Schumacher family since 1871. The farm is the heart of the three Apple Paradise locations and is now managed by Bernd Schumacher in the 5th generation.
At the farm in Tönisvorst, Bernd & Tanja Schumacher live and work with their three children Louisa, Paul, and Johannes. His father Rudolf and wife Christine actively support the family.
On around 40 hectares, we grow apples, pears, sweet cherries, apricots, and plums. The orchards are managed using environmentally friendly and nature-oriented cultivation methods. Plant protection is reduced to the minimum and replaced with alternative procedures – this is called “controlled, integrated cultivation.”

…At Huverheide 30 and Kuhstr. 28 in Tönisvorst, we offer our customers the opportunity to shop at our self-service vending machines.
Huverheide lies between St. Tönis, Vorst, and Kempen and is a popular destination for young and old. Especially during blossom season, it attracts many visitors and photographers. The busy activity during harvest time is also a frequent attraction. Seating areas near the vending machines invite you to linger. There is also an ICE CREAM vending machine, filled with regionally produced ice cream from the von Hoogen family in Kempen. We offer seasonal ice cream varieties here, some made with our own fruit.
In the village of Vorst, at Kuhstr. 28, we also offer our customers the possibility to buy our products from a self-service vending machine.
We reserve the right to close the vending machines depending on the timing of public holidays. In addition, they are closed during our annual company holiday from Christmas until the end of the first week of January. Further information will be posted at the vending machines.
